Requirements
- A REGTR cloud server: at least 2 vCPU / 2 GB RAM, recommended 4 vCPU / 8 GB
- Ubuntu 24.04 (clean install recommended)
- A domain or subdomain for the dashboard (optional)
Steps
-
1Run the install script
The script installs everything it needs, including Docker. Takes a few minutes.
curl -fsSL https://cdn.coollabs.io/coolify/install.sh | sudo bash -
2Open the ports
The dashboard uses 8000, realtime and terminal use 6001–6002. After setting a dashboard domain with SSL you can close 8000/6001/6002.
sudo ufw allow 8000/tcp sudo ufw allow 6001:6002/tcp # REGTR panelindeki güvenlik duvarında da aynı portları aç / open the same ports in the panel firewall -
3Create the admin account right away
Open http://SERVER_IP:8000. The first person to register becomes admin, so register immediately after install.
# Tarayıcıda / in your browser: http://SUNUCU_IP:8000 -
4Domain and first app
Set the dashboard domain in Settings (SSL is issued automatically). Then connect a Git repository and deploy your first app.
# Panel alan adı için DNS kaydı / DNS record for the dashboard: # coolify.example.com A SUNUCU_IP
Tips
- Coolify runs on ARM64; the app images you build must support ARM64 too (Node, Python, Go, PHP are fine).
- Dedicate the server to Coolify; a manually installed Nginx/Apache would occupy ports 80/443.
- Taking a snapshot in the panel before an important deploy makes rollback a matter of seconds.
FAQ
Which plan for Coolify?
For a few apps and a database, 4 vCPU / 8 GB (ARM 4). For faster builds and many apps, 8 vCPU / 16 GB (ARM 8).
Can I manage multiple servers?
Yes. Coolify connects to additional servers over SSH and deploys apps there too; smaller plans are enough for those.
