.DE and .EU Domain DNS & Nameserver Standards
.de domains require special dns settings. Therefore, most registrar companies cannot meet these standards.
You can get more detailed information at http://www.nic.de.
Please read the explanations and warnings on our DNS update pages.
DNS standards required by .de and .eu domains:
1 - The Name Server must be in different C classes. For example: ns1.regtr.com is 192.92.0.2 while ns2.regtr.com is 192.92.1.2.
2 - Before changing the dns of domains, the host settings must be made and the records on the dns server must be configured correctly.
3 - If you have edited the dns server, you need to update the domain dns again.
4 - Special ranges are required in DNS records on this type of DNS Server. For example, the TTL Value must be at least 250 S.
Moreover; The domain name registered after the .de domain registration is canceled by DENIC if DNS redirection is not made to a domain and no refund will be made. In this case, you need to point your domain name to a valid DNS after domain name registration.
